光触媒コーティングって何？

「光触媒」とは？

光触媒作用により発生した活性酸素種が、ウイルスの外膜（エンベロープあるいはカプシド）を

「抗ウイルス」「抗菌」って何？

  • 抗菌（こうきん）とは

抗菌JIS Z2801によれば、製品の表面における細菌の増殖を抑制する状態と定義されてます。
菌を長時間増やさない様にすることを抗菌と言います。
菌を一時的に死滅・除去する殺菌・除菌とは区別されます。

製品上の特定ウイルスの数を減少させること

(ISO 21702)抗ウイルス性試験では特定のウイルスを用いて試験しています。
抗ウイルス加工した製品としていない製品を比較し、24時間後にウイルスの数が1/100以下になった場合に、抗ウイルス効果があると規定しています。

ここで大事なことは、光触媒コーティング、抗菌・抗ウイルスコーティングは、
完全にウイルスや細菌を死滅させたり除去は出来ません。
あと、空間（3D）のウイルスや細菌を減らすことも出来ません。
